✦ About Vida Atlas
Hi, I’m Diana.
I’m a family nurse, a midwife, and the creator of Vida Atlas. My path started in a maternity ward, where I worked as a midwife, and later continued in a family health center as a family nurse, so I’ve cared for people at very different moments of life, from birth to much later chapters.

✦ Why I Created Vida Atlas
For years, I was used to looking at health questions from a healthcare professional’s perspective. Then, at some point, I found myself on the other side, as someone searching for answers.
Like many people, I spent countless hours reading articles, listening to podcasts, taking courses, and speaking with healthcare professionals and people who had gone through similar experiences. The more I learned, the more I realized how difficult it is to find information that is both trustworthy and easy to understand.
It also changed the way I think about health information. Sometimes you don’t need someone to tell you what to do. You just want to understand what might be happening, what questions are worth asking, and where to look next. Having clear information can make that process feel a little less overwhelming.
That’s why I created Vida Atlas, the kind of resource I wish I had when I was searching for answers myself. It’s also a place where I can pass forward what I’ve learned through my work, my own questions, and the people I’ve met along the way.
The name carries that same idea: “Vida” means life, and “Atlas” is something that helps you find your way, your path, through unfamiliar territory. That’s what I hope this space can be: a little help finding your way through your own health journey.
My goal isn’t to replace your doctor or tell you what to do. I want to give you a clearer starting point, so you can understand your health a little better and decide what makes sense for you.
